In Response To: Serial Numbers ()

: I recently picked up a 1996 Seamaster
: Professional with a model number of 2532.20
: and can't find and info on this model
: number. Anyone have any ideas where I can
: look.......

: Thanks

A quick google search turned up this one for sale (see second link below). It's basically the same as the model 2531.80, except that it has a white dial and a steel bezel with a non-colored aluminum insert. If you have the pictograms card, check to see whether it lists the movement as being caliber 1109 or caliber 1120. 1996 was the year the 1120 replaced caliber 1109. You can read more about it here:

http://chronocentric.com/omega/troubleshoot.shtml#1109

If you don't have the card, you can ask your watchmaker to tell you which movement you have when he opens the watch up for servicing.
