: Has anyone recently had their Omega overhauled
: (cleaned, lubed, calibrated and polished)?
: The last time I had my Omega serviced was in
: 04' and it cost roughly $250. I called the
: Omega Service Center in San Francisco today
: and they said it now costs $400. That seems
: high to me. It's hard for me to believe the
: cost has almost doubled in three years.

It varies depending on the type of watch you have. Chronographs always cost significantly more to service since they have many more moving parts that need to be cleaned, replaced, relubricated, etc. At last check it cost about $275-$300 for a full servicing on a regular automatic like a Seamaster, while it cost about $475 for a full servicing on a Speedy Pro chronograph. Those were the prices from Omega USA in New Jersey, and I got those prices sometime last year. They may have gone up a bit since then.
