: The warranty follows the watch, not the owner.
: It starts on the date of original purchase
: and ends 2 or 3 years from that date
: (co-axial models have 3-year warranties).
: So, a watch can be bought and sold a dozen
: times during the warranty period, and the
: 12th owner still has any remaining warranty
: left on the watch.
: You just have to be sure that the warranty card
: has been properly filled out with the AD's
: name, model number, correct serial number
: (matching the number on the back of the
: watch's 7 o'clock lug) and the date of
: purchase.
