Re: Automatic Watch Winder?
In Response To: Re: Automatic Watch Winder? ()

: I got mine from here:

: Specifically, this one:

: It 'works' as advertised. I have no idea if
: it's a 'good' or 'bad' winder since it's the
: only one I've ever owned. It's quiet. Has
: multiple functions. Hasn't exploded. And,
: yes....it's as pretty in person as
: advertised on the site.

: All that said...if anyone knows if it makes a
: difference to 'wind' (in a winder...not
: manually) Omegas in a CCW or CW
: direction...I'd love to know.

: Cheers.

I'm sharing my bad experience with ewatch.com, so others will carefully consider dealing with this internet based company. My wife purchased a watch winder for a 2006 X'mas gift for me and paid $149.00 on our Visa. It never arrived and we had numerous emails going back and forth with many different excuses about why it didn't get to us. Finally, they ignored our requests for a refund and we've now reported the company to the State of North Carolina Attorney General (file #0706884) but the company is similarly ignoring letters from the North Carolina AG. Be careful folks!
