Hi Rick, like you, I'm not a big fan of metal bracelets on the speedy - i think it looks much better with a leather, or better a velcro type (|nato) band. In fact I've just ordered a velcro strap from this guy - www.gasgasbones.com - Carl is a great guy and produces Omega specific straps to the original NASA drawings. I made a mistake with my order (wrong size) but he's going to replace it FOC with the correct size.
Important measurement for the band is 20mm between the lugs on a full size speedy.
