I'd tell them that you'll be in for your refund...

: This is turning out to be much more difficult
: than I expected. I decided to purchase the
: Seamaster 2225.80 from my local AD just
: across the border in Missouri. I paid cash
: and was told that the watch would be in for
: sizing next week. Wednesday they called and
: said it would be 4-6 weeks. During this time
: I received several e-mails regarding the
: preferred AD on the East Coast. I called him
: and he has 20!! in stock. He reccommended
: that I get a refund and I would have the
: watch next week. I just got off the phone
: with Meierotto's in Kansas City and they are
: refusing to give me a refund. I told them
: that they were being untruthful during the
: sale and providing terrible customer service
: at this point. This is not a special order
: item.

: Getting my first nice watch was supposed to be
: fun and exciting, right?

If you put down cash I'd tell them that you'll be in for your refund at the end of the day. If they do not tender a refund at that time you will be hiring a lawyer and filing a lawsuit first thing monday.

Be prepared to follow through with that, and you might want to send a query to Jeff Stein [You can get his email address via a post in the OTD Heuer forum] and seek his advice. He might be able to make a phone call on your behalf and get some action. [I don't know that, but it'd be worth an email]...
