Seamaster 2531.80

Hi
Im glad that there are people who stand in the first line on every new product. That leaves a nice aftermarket to many of us other. Thanx :)

My question. I just bougt a seamaster 2531.80 and I love it. For me, this is the original and the 2220 is a slight improved watch but its not the original.
When I surf around there seem to be some who trash the 2531 and the 1120 movement.
1. What do you think about the 2531.80 and the 1120 movement??
2. What do you think happens with the aftermarket now when this watch is discontinued?

Sorry for and badly pronounced sentences
