The PO has always used the 2500c
In Response To: Omega 2500C ()

: Hi all,

: I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am
: trying to find out when Omega started using
: the 2500C in the Planet Ocean watches (or
: any other watch for that matter).

The Planet Ocean is currently using and has always used the 2500c. I believe the PO came out in early 04. The caliber 2500 had already gone through the A and B version and the PO was only produced with the C version.

The 2500c is also used in the AquaTerra lines and the "Bond" watch. Some of the earlier AquaTerra's were fitted with the B version, probably ones assembled pre 2004. I beleive the A version was only fitted in the Limited Edition Co axials when they first introduced the movement. In the AquaTerras you can identify the caliber number. Its stamped on the movement and is visisble through the clear caseback.
