Here's a Catalogue Scan *PIC*
In Response To: any luck? ()

Hi Lee,

I found your watch in a couple of UK catalogues. one is from '81 & the other from '83 ( I don't have an '82 Catalogue, so don't know if it is
in there )

It's the upper of the 2 watches, the smaller one with no date & no visible crown.

Funnily enough it also seems to have the "kink" in the second link above the watch case.

What I also find a bit unusual is that the Case Ref # used in the UK catalogues ( they nearly always use the Case Ref #'s ) is NOT the same as the one you listed. In the Catalogue it is a DA 796.0803 ( DA means Stainless & Yellow metal mixed ).

The watch had a list price of 495 GBP in both Catalogues.

So the only open question now is how much is it worth today ? & I'm afrid the answer is, I have no Idea.

This isn't a watch that I'd normally pay any attention to. I have about as much idea what a litre of whiskey costs in Timbuctoo as I do about the current value of this watch.

However, I hope this helps a bit

Steve
