Looking for Deal on Moonwatch (3570.50)

Finally saved up enough money for a Speedmaster Professional 'Moonwatch' and went down to my Omega authorized dealer in Washington State (Ben Bridge Jewelers) and inquired about purchasing one. However, no matter how many times I asked, the sales woman insisted that she could not offer any sort of discount on the watch, that I would have to pay the full $3,000.

I would rather deal with an authorized dealer, but I would also rather not pay $3,000 when I know I could buy one off Amazon.com for $2,150.

Without any other authorized dealers in my area, are there any other options to try and save some money?

Additionally -

Is anyone really familiar with the "reduced" version of the Speedmaster (3539.50)? I like the idea of a smaller watch (I'm a small guy, and the full-sized might be a bit too big on me), and the lower price is also tempting. Would this really be a substitute for an authentic Moonwatch?
