No, its not part of the "normal" experience. I would send the watch in for service along with an explanation of the issues you have had already with the watch. Omega might cut you some slack on the repair bill. Explain how you are disappointed, etc. about the performance of your watch, tactfully, of course. Truthfully, the caliber 1120 is slated for service every 3-5 years, but mine is going on 5 years running slightly slow -6/7 seconds a day. So, what you are experiencing is technically not out of the question, but is certainly not normal for an Omega watch. Good luck with it. I believe all Omega service comes with a 1 or two year additional warranty, so keep that in mind if it starts acting up again.
