Re: Omega X-33 reset?

Thanks Kieron,

This is a great link and I brought a copy of it in with me when I went to have the battery reinstall checked at the jeweler. I don't know what they did the first time but the watch is working perfectly again.

Thanks again,

Jim

(P.S. - I've ordered screw drivers from Otto Frei so that I don't have to go thru this ordeal again)

: I've changed batteries in two X-33's (Gen 2)
: and they didn't require a reset, they just
: needed the time, date, etc. resetting. This
: subject comes up quite frequently and the
: general consensus is that when a new battery
: is fitted, it may not be as new as it's
: supposed to be. The battery, as you may be
: aware, is a Lithium 3v CR2320 (I use Swiss
: made Renata) or equivalent so my first move
: would be to replace the battery again. A
: great watch though with a host of useful
: features, here's mine and below it is a link
: which you might find a useful read,
: especially regarding the use of cheap
: batteries, just scroll down the page when it
: loads...
