Re: New Constellation Mini Losing Time

: Sam

: Thanks for the explanation - much appreciated.
: As you've no doubt gathered my knowledge of
: the intracacies of watches is very limited.
: My only education has been my Grandfather
: bought me an Omega Deville nearly 20 years
: ago and that watch didn't miss a beat and
: was never serviced. I figured it must be a
: good brand! Unfortunately, I lost the
: Deville late last year and so this new watch
: is the replacement and I naturally went for
: another Omega.

: I cannot take a photo unfortunately but next to
: Connie's watch mine is a very poor cousin!
: No, I am very happy with the way the watch
: looks but Connie's is a beauty. Mine is the
: mini version - it has a much smaller face,
: no date and no second hand and alas no
: diamonds. It's stainless steel and yellow
: gold.

: Maybe you know the answer to this question too.
: I had to have two extra links put in and is
: there a standard protocol as to how the
: links should be placed? I think I have too
: many links on one side of the watch because
: it doesn't sit comfortably with the face in
: the centre of my wrist. It likes to drift to
: one side as that's the only way the clip bit
: is centred on the back of my wrist. I keep
: moving it to the centre and then the clip
: bit sort of protrudes on the bone. Does this
: make sense? I'm thinking those guys I bought
: the watch from are cowboys ...

: Cheers
: Anna

The "rules" for sizing a watch are to make it comfortable for you.

Take the links with you and tell the dealer it is uncomfortable (after you get the battery changed!). They should be able to get it to work for you.
