Oh no...
In Response To: great forum ()

Oh no... I was just admiring my first expensive timepiece for the millionth time today when I noticed... scratches!

My barely one week old 2264.50 has some scratches already formed on the smooth clasp. I'm actually surprised, I assumed the brushed metal surface would be tough and scratch resistant. I guess this is normal. I'm giving the watch * character * hehe

oh and FYI re: accuracy
my timex indiglo quartz 1.5s fast per week
my omega seamaster quartz 0s maybe 0.25s fast per week (need longer time sample)

: Thanks

: Buying this watch was lotsa fun. I want start
: researching to buy another one now! But I
: gotta be realistic and hold back...

: Thanks to all who keep this forum running.
: Great stuff.
