I have found it in a 1989 Catalogue

Hi Jim,

I checked through some of my Catalogues & have found you fiancee's watch in a German Catalogue from 1989. This doesn't mean it is a German watch. I live in Germany so can buy / Collect German Catalogues a bit easier than USA or UK Catalogues. I'd say this watch was available internationally, I just happen to have found it in a German Catalogue.

Here's the scan,

It appears to be the watch on the right ( without the date window ).

The Catalogue does not mention that the watch was available with a white dial, But shows a white dialed version on a metal bracelet.

Unfortunately the catalogue doesn't give a lot of details on the watch. It mentions that they have a "quality quartz" movement, saphire crystal & are waterproof to 30m ( which basically means don't swim with it ! ).

The price list mentions that the case is made of stainless steel & that the "bezel" is 18 Carat Gold.

The non-date model on a leather strap cost 995 Deutsche Marks.

I hope this helps.

Steve
