In Response To: speedmaster chrono question! ()

: juz bought my speedmaster racing edition 2001
: from a 2nd hand retailer.im kinda worried
: coz as we all know that the large second
: hand for chronograph watch will stay at 12
: oclock when not activated,but i've noticed
: that my second hand will sometimes deviates
: about 1mm to the left or right.is this
: normal ?please advice!

It should consistently reset to top dead center... It sounds like it needs adjustment or service. Standard service interval is 3-4 years, and 2008 minus 2001 is seven...
