Krieger Chronograph???

Hello all...

It has been a long time since my last message--at least 5-7 years. Anyway, I still have my Omega Seamaster and wanted to ask everyone if they knew anything about Krieger Watches? I am not talking about the current Krieger collection. I am thinking of purchasing a used Krieger Aficionado Chronoscope, and wanted to see if anyone had any comments? Before I bought my Omega, I used to have a Kreiger Velocita, which was a "certified" quartz chrono. It was a very nice watch and I remember looking at the Aficionado's too, but they were really high in price. I believe the one I am looking at now retailed for around $3,000 at the time--circa 1994. I can buy it for around $900 and everything seems to be in really great shape. I see Kreiger's stuff now and it seems as though they went through a change compared to their original collection back in the early 1990's. Did something happen? Did someone buy them out? I seems as though they cheapened the product?Anyway, any help and/or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brent
