omega pocket watch

am new here and am looking for some information on a recent watch i have purchased. it is 2 and 1/2 inches tall by 1 inch wide. an Omega with a cherub standing on top of the piece. writing on the face is as follows: swit zerland; made 1882... been trying to get some kind of idea s to what it is. there is a place on the back of the cherub's head for what appears to be for a watch fob. any help would be greatly appreciated. i haven't posted the photo as of yet, but i can send via e-mail; rabbitshole02@yahoo.com. please ask for the pic in your subject line; i don't open e-mails of people i don't know. have great day.
