Re: 300M QUARTZ opinions
In Response To: 300M QUARTZ opinions ()

Bill, I've had experiences, both good and bad.

I bought my first Omega watch, a 2264.50 300m quartz and I love it. less than 1s per month, and the second hand lines up pretty well, off on a few markers but that's it. It's my day to day watch, replacing a great little seiko I bought 2 yrs. ago.

I convinced a good friend to buy the same watch and there has been problems. The second hand lines up BETWEEN the marks, and the bezel is looser than mine. It also gained 1s in 10 days (not bad).

He's not so happy with it, and I feel bad for pushing this watch on him. The dealer is not willing to take it back for exchange or repair, which is understandable since it's not actually "broken".

You may see a 2264.50 on Omega rubber strap for sale soon.
