Here's my refinished gold capped 1951 version, one year after the 1950 introduction.

Despite the condition, this watch is keeping good time. Many winders won't keep the bumpers wound, so it took me a while to find one that works. You'll want to keep it wound if you want the date correct, as it is NOT a quickset date at all.
