I know I want to buy a preowned Omega Speedmaster Professional(non-auto) Chrono from '99-2ooo BUT I don't know....
-the ref# to look for,or serial# series
-does this model from 99-00 have
a new bracelet system? heard about hair pulling.
-What is a fair NIB and LNIB w/papers price?
-Is there any new version or updated version of this model coming out that I should wait for?
-Any good NET source to buy from? you can email

I know these questions are redundant but I don't know much about Omega, as I am Rolex owner who lives over at the Rolex forum at watchz**e.net and we get all lot of newbie questions to answer happily but hey! ya' gotta start somewhere! Please no cracks about me coming over the Omega side of the fence...I've always admired the Omega Chronos!!THANKS!!
