Re: Derek and Serial Numbers on SM Pro

: Derek: I have swaped e-mail with two other board posters. Their Seamasters
: with, Lumibrite(?) face and hands, start with 6002xxx (one of which is a
: chrono). The FAQ section states that 1998 and up production starts with
: 6022xxx. As my new SM (Bond model)should be arriving shortly, I want to
: ensure that it has the new technology.

My SM Pro "Bond" 2531.80 has a serial no. starting with 6025****. Omega told me in an e-mail that it left the factory in Oct 1998, and it definitely has the Lumibrite (Luminova?) face & hands.
