I have no first hand experience...

but I've been reading posts on this subject for a few years on the other forums. The Speedmaster Pro is the watch I'm planning to buy next month. I would not shower with the watch or submerge it into water. It's my understanding that the Speedmaster automatic is a little better around water because the crown does not encounter as much day-to-day usage as the Pro.

If I remember previous posts on the water resistance of the Speedmaster Pro correctly, most people will not recommend getting the watch wet.

: I know it says 30m but can you take a shower with it, or dip it in a pail of
: water when your washing dishes on a trail in the backwoods.
