My SeaPro Chronog start with 6002.....

does this mean a fake Seamaster Pro Chronograph? (I bought in 97) Any comments will be nicely considered, thanks. Regards, Louis

: The box is a poor measure. It could have been swapped at anytime in the past
: - by the dealer or anyone the watch passed through.

: You'd be better off getting the serial number - with at least the first 4 or
: 5 digits of it, you can get a decent idea of the age. For a SM Pro about
: 18 months old, the serial number will likely start with a 6022.

: The serial number should be readable on the outside of the watch (if it is
: not, then that is another issue). See the zOwie FAQ topic on serial
: numbers for more info.
