Vintage Omega bumper

Hi all.

I was going to ask if anyone could give me any info on my watch. Having read a few pointers on here though, I think I'll get my local decent jeweller to take the back off and tell me the serial number. Then I'll come back on here. In the mean time though I wonder if any of you could help. My Mrs bought it for me as a wedding present from an antique dealer in Worcester, UK 2 yrs ago. It as £400 and claimed to be circa 1950. It is definately a 'bumper' a it comes to life when you wear it. It has no outside serial numbers nor no model ident on the face, simply Omega Automatic. I have had both the strap and lens replaced for genuine Omega articals but I refrained from renovating or replacing either the face or hands for fear of ruining the watches tired face.
Whilst I'm here, how do I put pic's on?
