This is what I can see ... *LINK*

This is what I can see.

Assuming all the pieces are original to the watch

It's got the "later" style case back so post '71. It has a "stretch" bracelet, with correct "516" endpieces, this indicates that the watch was issued around '71 ( the stretch bracelets were fazed out in '71 ). T SWISS MADE T dial ( pre '94 )

Anything else is guess work ( without more Info ), But I'd guess this is a '71 watch.

It looks "right" to me. It's been used & is not in perfect immaculate ( Over restored ? ) condition.

The bracelets , with endpieces, are now commanding a very high premium on eBay. One recently sold for about 350 quid ( $680 ). See link below

As for the watch itself, I'd argue that that model is probably the least desirable Speedmaster Pro. That doesn't mean it is undesirable, but most other "pro" models have something that a collector "must have". This one has the 861, no special caseback, no special case or no special dial etc etc & is about 37 years old. With the exception of the bracelet, it's a 37 year old version of what you can buy today.

So I'd argue that the watch is worth around $1000 ( about 500 Quid ). The bracelet is another 350 quid.

If you can get the watch for that kind of money I'd take it. ( you can factor in selling the bracelet if you want ) Otherwise, you need to think it over. Is it worth spending a bit more to get a watch , that is basically the same, but 20 years newer. Or do you particularly want a '71 watch with older stretch bracelet ?

If you can get the watch & bracelet for under 700 quid. It's a bargain.

Obviously there's a lot of opinion in this post.

All the Best

Steve
