Date Change

My Omega Seamaster 2500 Co-axial came back from a full service the other that fixed a minor problem. Upon adjusting the date and time I completely forgot that the date should not be adjusted between 8pm and 2am; I did it just past 10pm. When I did it (having first adjusted the time) I pushed the crown back from its fully out time setting position to the intermediary date setting position. I noticed that as I turned the dates moved without the usual click between each date as you turn. Then when midnight came the date did not change. I pulled out the crown completely thinking I was off by 12h cycle and brought forward the watch by another 12h. Nothing happened. In fact the date would not change as I moved the time forward several full 12h cycles.

I then remembered the 'not between 8pm and 2am' rule. So with I set the time a 6 oclock, pushed crown back in, then pulled it out to its intermediary position and started changing the dates. The clicking sound was back. Further more the date now changes correctly just after midnight and it is running paerfectly in all other respects. The only comment I would make is that pre service the date would roll over just after 00:05, whereas now it rolls over between 00:10 and 00:15.

Any thoughts on whether or not what I described sounds like the watch might have been damaged or is there nothing to worry about?
Thanking you all in advance; Thomas
