: I purchased Omega from an AD about a week ago. Today I noticed that
: my week new Omega seamaster pro was two hours behind. I wore it
: at lease couple of hours everyday. Should I exchange it? This
: was their last one. I would have to use warranty if there is
: something worng. Was I supposed to rewind the watch for an
: initial use? This is my first Omega, please do advise.

: Thank you in advance,

I've been told in the past that one should always wind a new, automatic watch 30-40 winds the first time you wear it. This fully winds the watch so that it reaches its full reserve (usually 38-42 hours). You'll probably need to wear it at least 5 hours per day to maintain a fully wound state, during the waking hours (depends on the amount of arm/wrist movement during wear) If you don't wear it that long each day, wind it 20-25 times in the morning. This method works for me. Steve
