Often, an inappropriate crystal distorts the view of the edge of the dial so that the "Swiss Made" is not readily visible.

It is also possible the dial has been refinished.

Swiss Made became the wording on genuine Swiss watches in the early 1960s, I believe. Prior to that, Swiss was used. But an Omega should have some wording on it.
