If Glenn has never seen a dial in that color, and I have never seen a dial in that color, it is highly unlikely this is an original dial.

Dials wear and age over time. At one time it was routine for a watchmaker to send a dial to be refinished as part of a complete service on an older watch. However, collectors value originality greatly.

On the other hand, you are the one wearing the watch -- if you like it and want to wear it, it is your decision. It will not be an easy watch to resell, however.
