omega seamaster strange behaviour

Hello,

I've had some very useful advice on this forum before, so I thought I would ask for advice again.

I have an Omega Seamaster Calibre 2500 co-axial. It is just over year old and went back to the factory recently for a repair (the watch would lose its charge within a couple of hours). Since then it has been running beautifully apart from one strange incident.

Ten days ago whilst on a beach holiday, the watch just stopped. I noticed it an hour later. I then tried to shake it a bit but nothing. Tried to rewind it but nothing. Then a couple of minutes later it started again and has been running to perfection ever since!

Does anyone have a theory as to what it could be? The incident would indicate that something very serious is wrong but the fact that it has been running perfectly ever since contradicts this idea! The crown was properly screwed down.

would be very grateful for your views on this!

Thomas
