working late so not at my reference books -- still at the office

Omega initially marked serial numbers on the face side of the movement beginning in 1894 (?)
then moved to both side in about 1904 (?), later only on the rear of the movement
but I am unsure of both dates

Your watch could predate the marking of movement numbers on the rear
