Omega Century
I have a 1950's Omega Century watch. Apparently this model was only produced for the Canadian Market. it has a black textured dial marked Omega Century. It has a 17 jewel manual wind movement marked Omega. The case and caseback are 10kt gold filled. The caseback is signed Star Case Co and the crown is unsigned. I am wondering if this case and crown are original or if it has been recased. I found anotherone on the internet that is identical and has the identical markings. Could it be that because these were produced for the canadian market, the numbers produced would be smaller so they farmed out the case and crown to another Company?
