The choice of terms predates my entry into the online world of the hobby so I can't say with certainty, but as far as I'm aware the "Darth Vader" name came first, based solely on Chuck's interest in the science fiction and the movies and the watch's dark appearance. After the "Darth" name stuck, the Jedi, Anakin, etc. were subsequently assigned either by Chuck or by other collectors with Chuck adopting/accepting the terminology too. All three are Seamaster 861 chronos. from the early-mid '70s. with unusual case shapes and oblong dial markers.

Darth Vader:

Anakin Skywalker:

Jedi:

And the last, the "Darth Maul. " I actually recommended the name for this one to Steve W. and Chuck and it wound up sticking even though it has little relation to the above and isn't a Seamaster chrono. It's a custom-modified Speemaster Mark II racing dial with a custom PVD finish coating.

I bet Chuck would think it's hilarious that his Sci-Fi names have now been adopted by even the Swiss.
