To ensure domestic tranquility . . . .

: Hey guys, ain't gonna steal his glory, but here's a little
: preview.............................David

OK, OK . . . alright already

First, as the quote goes ". . . .in order to ensure domestic tranquility . . . "

My dear Watchwidow decided some time ago that she wanted a Patek Philippe, and a vintage one at that. She was not specific about what it was, but that she would know it when she saw it.

Well, she saw it . . . a Patek Philippe Reference 1432, made in 1946 and sold in 1947 with the calibre 10''' 200 with 18 jewels

The observant may note it is a rather poor redial, but we will correct that. The original dial was silvered, as you may be able to note below.

She was particularly fascinated with the service history evident in the caseback.

The next post will address what I did after "domestic tranquility" was assured.
