Re: Seamaster 300m Chrono Automatic running fast

: My 12 month old Seamaster is running 20 - 30 secs fast every day. I
: assume that I have to return it to Omega for adjustment. Any
: other options. I'm an airline pilot and wonder if changing time
: zones is causing the problem.

If it was running fast since day one, then ya, you probably have to get it cracked open and recalibrated. But if this is a recent problem, chances are good that your watch has been magnetized. You can take it to pretty much any watch shop and get them to demagnetize it for you (without opening it) and a minimum charge (usually nothing).

I'd try and do that first and then service it if it doesn't rectify the problem.
