: Long story so here is the short version! I was wearing this watch
: which was the very 1st nice watch I ever owned the day I was
: riding my motorcyle and was hit by an oncoming mini van. The
: impact ripping the watch off my wrist but it was still inside my
: motorcycle glove. The band was snapped in half, bezel broke off
: and the top pusher was missing but the spring was hanging out.
: Actually the watch was retreived by the paramedics at the scene
: and given to my wife a few weeks after my acident. I was in the
: hospital for 2 months with many broken bones in both arms, hands
: and I lost my entire left leg 4" below my hip. Once I got
: home I wound the watch and it was +2 a day, working perfectly!
: My dealer sent it to Omega and 3 months later I received
: basically a new looking watch that worked perfectly. This was 1
: tough watch. This watch and I had been through a lot. I can't
: believe I sold it. I sold it on another forum to a local guy in
: Tampa. I no longer have his info or I'd try to buy the watch
: back.

I almost hate to admit that I am wearing mine as I write this reply. I received it almost ten years ago as a Christmas gift from my ex-wife and kids. It is a fabulous watch and I receive many compliments when wearing it. I own a couple of Rolex Datejusts, a Baume-Mercier Capeland, a Breitling Chronomat and others. I must say my Seamaster 300m white dial chronograph is one of my favorites. It is quite heavy, but amazingly comfortable to wear. I also love the fact that the white dial version is rarely seen. I hope you find one, but you can't buy mine! Sorry and good luck!!!
