: Nice watch. Best wishes on your enjoyment of the Aquatimer.
: That being said, lets look at this thing a little closer.
: I agree with the assessment of the Ti. Its light and feels like
: plastic. I am familiar with the Seamaster Ti you tried out
: because you stole it from me. Thats OK, I never liked it and wish
: you would have kept it. The Black 300 is another story.
: That was the third one I've owned and can't seem to hold on to a
: black one to save my life. I'm looking for another.
: Giving it to your Son-in-Law is almost a crime. Tell him to buy his
: own.
: The IWC Aquatimer is a nice watch Dave. Too bad its got a junker
: ETA movement unlike the Dweller which is "in house".
: Its a shame to sideline the Dweller. She has served you well and
: runs like a top even after boiling, freezing and that
: dishwasher debacle. Treat a reliable watch like that and then put
: her out to pasture is just an abomination. Where is the
: humanity? The Aquatimer is a nice watch, it ain't no Dweller. The
: bracelet looks nice and robust, I wonder if it rattles
: like the Rolex? Oh yeah, has it got solid endlinks? Please tell me
: it does...................
: Those pics are just OK. Point and shoot, I take it? Well, if you
: can afford a watch of that caliber, I suggest buying one
: of the new "D" series Nikon cameras. I even know a super
: guy near Atlanta that can help you out with operating it.
: Good instruction means you won't even have to read the owners
: manual. I'd get the 105mm lens also. You'd be a expert
: in no time.
: On another note Dave, thats a fine looking watch that I'm anxious
: to see. I put on the Ti Seamaster and immediately hated it.
: Light and plastic feeling with a greasy feeling to it with almost
: no heft. As you stated earlier, I believe I could wear it if it
: had
: some weight to it. Its a nice looking metal just something most
: aren't used to, including me.
: Good luck with that thing and I look forward to seeing it on my
: next trip to your place.
: And those are pretty sporty pics too. My best on a fine looking
: IWC.

Jim, this thing is almost impossible to photograph staight on, the glare is unbelievable. And, I'm not putting the Dweller out to pasture, I just wanted
a sport watch I could wear out and about, without all the Rolex comments. Still gotta have a work watch. The Dweller fits that bill perfectly. As far as
camera is concerned, I've got the equipment, just not the skill. I'll give it another try, but don't expect steller results........David
