The earliest "time only" watches were pocket watches

If you will indulge me, I liked some other photos I made of the "center box" and some of the watches in it above

The sterling silver box accompanied the 1950s era Constellations Deluxe and Grand Luxe. The omega on the box is visible through the transparent center of the 1981 La Magique.

There are three other "time only" watches in my collection now in possession of others: a early Gruen Curvex, a 1950s Blancpain with a dubious heritage and a Steinhausen

I also have watches with dates, and as watch historians know, they all came after WWII

There is one missing, in possession of a forum member considering it for purchase.

Next up, two of my three alarm watches (one at a watchmakers, apparently permanently)

1960s Baume & Mercier 2131 manual, 14kYGF/leather, gold guillouche face, 2 crown alarm (AS 1475)
1970 Omega Seamaster Memomatic ST 166.0072 auto, SS/leather, gray-black/minute alarm date (980)

1983 Omega Phase de Lune Or BA 156.0002 auto, 18kYG/leather, engraved silvered/ moonphase triple date (715)

Only two of these made it into the inventory . . . .

That about it
