Re: Megaquartz 32 Khz repair?
In Response To: Re: Megaquartz 32 Khz repair? ()

: Yes, it is real. The only words on the face are Omega, Megaquartz,
: and 32 Khz. It does not say Constellation like most of the
: pictures I have seen. The fact is a grey/blue, depending upon
: the angle you look at it, and the case and orignal band are
: stainless.
: My issue is repairablilty. A few years ago, I sent it to an Omega
: repair facility here in the U.S. They returned it saying they
: could not repair it, no parts available.
: Is there anyone out there that knows of someone who is know how to
: repair electronics from the '70's?

What is the nature of the issue? if it is the electronics, you may have an unrecoverable issue.

As you may know, today one does not generally repair quartz, one replaces quartz -- take out the old movement and put in a new one.

If Omega does not have a replacement movement -- you are out of luck.
