I have a Seamaster w/ serial # 40807279, using this in part, I have found that this watch is a 1977 with quartz movement. It has day and date. Appears to have the original band and clasp, SS back w/logo.
What I would like to know; are the case and bezel gold, gold plated, gold filled (can that be discovered w/o a jewelers test)? is there anything special about this watch?
I'm going to try and sell this watch for $550, am I nutz?
Any info would be appreciated.
