Re: Found -- Seamaster Chronometer calibre 751

: Great pick up! In our recent discussion about flippers, we noted
: the demise of the quick buck being made by these folks, and the
: fact that many of them are losing money with this practice. Tell
: ya what, I'm willing to buy that watch from you at a 20% premium
: over what you paid for it. I'll drive south, (north really) and
: have cash money in hand, and pay you for that watch. A 20%
: profit for a weeks wearing? Unheard of! It never happens! Say it
: ain't so! As a bonus, I'm willing to let you keep the bracelet.
: That's right, more money in your pocket when you sell the
: bracelet. Why would I do this? Because I know times are tough,
: and I don't want you being one of those guys that lost his shirt
: on a purchase...."gone bad". Got a full tank of
: diesel..............Let me know.............David

You know, a sale like that is possible. Not very likely, but possible.

I was thinking more like the typical jeweler's markup of, say 500%. Will that work for you? :)

[ADMIN comment -- since this is a completely hypothetical sale situation, which I can say, with some authority (cause its my watch), that there is no way in hell will ever happen, this is not considered a "commercial post"]
