My 2 cents worth.
If in doubt don't. Sure 2 Omega watches for $200 a piece, but unless you are a watchmaker, redialer, what use really? I am sure there are better bargains to be had. Perhaps someone will come in and say, of such and such is a well sort after movement, and that would change everything, but I doubt it. I had similar thoughts a while back about some "OMEGAS," ended up selling them on EBay, not for profit!
By the terms used by the seller, (spots instead of patina) I doubt he knows much either. That could be your gain, or loss, but I go back to my original statement. By your emphasis on the bands, perhaps I am correct to assume that you are not all that knowledgeable about watches either, (Please with all respect, and no offence) but unless original band, really, who cares what it is on.
This is the help I can offer you, and I've been checking watches out, daily for the past 7 months, so not all that knowledgeable and honestly, just trying to help you learn from my mistakes.
