and it fits perfectly. I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but I actually went to the trouble of drawing on my wrist to figure out what to do. For what it's worth, I positioned the clasp on the underside of my wrist and made pencil marks where I wanted it. Then I held the face in the position I wanted it on the top of my wrist and stretched the band around to figure out how many links needed to come out on either side to get both the face and clasp positioned right. Pretty nerdy, I know, but it worked great. Jeweler didn't trust me at first when I told him I knew exactly which links needed to be removed, but when it worked perfectly he was convinced.
