The GMT is an excellent choice. I too love the way the SMP bracelet is so comfortable and does not pull at the arm hair.

Maybe it's not so bad that Ashford did not size the bracelet. This way, you can go to a dealer and have it done while you wait, so that adjustments can be made on the spot, should it turn out the first sizing is not what you want.

Keep in mind that the Omega bracelets are notoriously difficult to adjust. Make sure the watch maker sizing your bracelet has experience at this.

Enjoy.

: I received my gmt(2534.50) from ashford.com a
: week ago and it is great. The tolerances on
: the bracelet are very tight. I thought that
: it would pull the hair out of my arm but it
: is quite comfortable. And I have never seen
: a dial so bright and readable in the dark. I
: have not run any time trails - various
: position to check reliability - but it does
: seem to be very accurate. I want to thank
: the other chronocentric users who posted
: coupons for ashford as this saved me an
: additional $150.00. The final delivered
: price as $1346.00. I have seen lower princes
: but these dealers had dubious reputations.
: The ashford price was much better then
: retail and with one exception there were no
: problems. I requested that they size the
: watch but they forgot to do it. They said
: they would credit me for this ($15.00). I
: never wear a watch to bed but I enjoy the
: gmt so much that I can not take it off!
