I like the blue...............
In Response To: New Black SMP or 2531.80 Bond? ()

The black version is quite attractive and compelling--I always like it whem I see one.

BUT I still prefer the blue because in both style and color, it is a much more unique and distinctive design. In fact it is the sophisticated SUBTLETY of the Bond that I prefer over the bolder look of the new black design.

I get tired of mens jewelry being mostly limited to yellow gold, white metals (wg, plat, steel, silver), VERY BASIC colors like black, and most watches looking similar to common Rolex models. If I see another man's black onyx ring, I'm gonna barf.

So I love the blue Bond SMP design. It has a wonderful mix of the classic, conservative styling, yet with a delicate flair of the more unusual--such as the skeleton hands, navy blue bezel and dial, 9-segment bracelet, and greater flair of using brushed and polished finishes.
