I see this sort of question on this forum often...and like any good engineer, I say, "Let the data do the talking!" I have maintained an excel spreadsheet for about a month that tracks the accuracy of my auto SMP. I KNOW mine is in "tip-top certified chronometer" shape. All you (also) need is www.time.gov to get atomic time, and you can determine if you have break-in issues, nighttime speedup or slowdown issues, positional storage patterns etc. I'll sent it to anyone who asks; remember, ALWAYS VIRUS-SCAN EMAIL ATTACHMENTS BEFORE OPENING!!!
My data does not lie, the break-in period was a real phenomenon...minor but real. MCANON
