Well, obviously something is wrong with the watch. It may take a simple cleaning or adjustment to get it back in full order.
But what other options would you have? Fix it, sell it as it, or throw it away?
Keep in mind that buying luxury products does not mean you are buying something indestructible or failure-proof. Most any complex mechanical device you buy *may* require service one or more times in its usable life.
