I'm in a similar situation, needing a watchmaker to overhaul my dad's old 1958 Constellation pie pan. Having read this forum, I've eliminated Omega USA. I've agonized over this, reading all the watch forums, and I've narrowed my choices down to three.

EWM: Based in Seattle, they are reasonably priced. This might be the best deal in routine cleaning of your Omega.

Tom Gref: In Rhode Island. I hear he is the best and very expensive. Might be overkill for an ordinary watch. He might be the watchmaker if you want and need the best, and don't mind waiting.

RGM: Don't know much about them, but they have a nice web site and I've read a couple good reports on another watch forum.

I've not used any of these people, and would like comments from forum members, especially those with experience.
