I tend to agree, Derek, and that's what impressed me about the Multifunction. I normally wear it in the "elegantly conservative" mode shown in the photo but with a twist of the crown can bring up the day, date, seconds, alarm, countdown timer, chronograph or second time zone gadgetry - it's all under the dial, not in a pocket.

If I want an even more elegantly conservative look, I put it on a dark blue Omega alligator strap as shown here.
